With the 2022 BMC Elections on its way BJP has some plans to have control on the BMC and is in the process of making an alliance with the MNS and is trying its level best to keep the ruling civic party Shiv Sena from having the control.

However the discussions are still going on as BJP MLA Prasad Lad has met MNS President Raj Thackeray.

The tough war between Shivsena and BJP is increasing day by day. Shivsena broke all the ties with BJP and formed a new alliance with the congress and NCP which is the Maha Vikas Aghadi in 2019 assembly elections.

The 2022 BMC polls are going to be a battle field where in the former allies are going to contest separately.

Prasad Lad was seen visiting krishnakunj residence of Raj Thackeray. He also said that the BMC mayor will be from BJP.
It is clear that BJP will contest the polls with a lot of power and is all ready to set the BJP flag high on the BMC.

Although there is no information from the MNS yet.  It has been said that the meet was personal.
